mr. Stefan Blonk
Stefan graduated in Law from Leiden University (NL) and started his career with a brief period at the entertainment law firm Kalff, Katz & Koedooder. It soon became clear that he was more interested in being close to the deals, rights, artists and commercial decisions that shape the music business than in practising law in the traditional sense. Shortly after, he made the move into the industry itself, joining the renowned dance label United Recordings, home to acts such as Armin van Buuren, Laidback Luke and Chocolate Puma, where he handled the business and legal affairs of the label and its affiliated publishing company.
After 4 years of working across the record and publishing side of the business, Stefan broadened his experience by moving to one of Holland's most prestigious artist management companies, AT Productions, which represented artists such as Within Temptation, KANE, DI-RECT, Boaz van de Beatz, Mr. Polska and Billy The Kit. During his time there, he helped establish a new division under the AT umbrella: AT Publishing, a music publishing company which is now fully owned by Blonk.NU.
Having gradually expanded his expertise and international network across artist management, music publishing, intellectual property, trademark registration, broadcast, touring, synchronization, A&R and merchandising, Stefan founded Blonk.NU in 2015 as an entertainment legal and business consultancy. This was followed by the launch of affiliated trademark consultancy Brandknights in 2022 and the co-founding of catalogue transition intermediary Evergreen IP in 2026. Stefan has over 25 years of board-level experience in the entertainment and music rights industry.

mr. Thijs Vroegop
Thijs graduated from Utrecht University in 2010 (Private Law) with various prizes and honours. He was given a position as a researcher and lecturer, before working at a renowned law firm for several years. Meanwhile he developed a successful music career, with multiple gold records and airplay hits to his name.
An artist and songwriter himself, Thijs has a first-hand understanding of what it's like to enter into record deals, negotiate publishing agreements, work with booking agencies, etc. Combining this experience with his legal expertise makes him a unique, no-nonsense partner for our clients.
